I moved to Perth WA Australia with my family in 2016, and couldn't proceed working as a lawyer. At first i was concentrating on helping my family to settle down well. When i finally had some time for myself, I went to a one-time painting event, and was very pleased with my artwork. So pleased, that i submitted it to the "Wrapping up Graffiti" call-out published by WA Police and City of Perth. I had nothing to lose, no risk by trying, right?
I was so happy when i got notified that my artwork "Flora" was selected, and that gave me all the confidant to continue with my art. This was a reassurement that i'm doing the right thing, that I've finally found my calling.
I was getting recognized as an artist, i was getting payed for my art, and since my artwork was used for a public-art project - thousands of people saw my painting! yay!
I believe most of us need some affirmations in life, at some point or another, to push us forward. Let me know if you'd like some encouragement, or if you'd like to here more about this topic.
